Architecturally designed housing is expensive. Modular housing is affordable but rarely well designed. TinyMod lives in that gap.

In 2023, VIZ co-founded TinyMod® with Modular Builders, Inc. — pairing four decades of prefab manufacturing expertise with the design and visualization side VIZ had spent nineteen years building. The premise was simple: prefab ADUs and small single-family homes that look like someone designed them, at prices real buyers can reach.

This isn't a client engagement. VIZ holds equity and runs everything on the design and brand side of the company — from the original product design and the modularization of every floor plan, through the entire visual identity, the website, and the marketing engine that keeps it running.

Six standard models are in market, with custom designs delivered up to 1,800 square feet. Beyond building in Colorado, TinyMod consults nationally — helping traditional developers and builders convert to modular by connecting them to manufacturers, designing for offsite production, and marketing the result. TinyMod also became the platform for a second venture: Uni-Frame, a structural building system that TinyMod holds a stake in.
